TNL Mediagene (Nasdaq: TNMG), Asia’s next-generation digital media and data group, continues to deepen its engagement with Taiwan’s youth by supporting social action and innovation. The 9th annual "Becoming Aces" campaign officially kicks off today. Launched in 2015 by TNL Mediagene’s media brand The News Lens, the initiative has grown into one of Taiwan’s most iconic youth platforms, discovering and supporting hundreds of young advocates dedicated to driving social change from the ground up.

In a time marked by global volatility and shifting generational values, Becoming Aces invites young people to respond to the present with creativity and courage, defining their own paths of impact.

“Back then, we were still a young media company, driven by the urge to speak up for our generation,”said Mario Yang, co-founder and Chief Content Officer of TNL Mediagene, and initiator of Becoming Aces, reflecting on the project’s beginnings in 2015.

This year’s theme, “The Power of Now,” highlights youth who seize opportunities and turn ideals into action. Reviewing the past eight editions, selected changemakers have tackled issues ranging from rural revitalization and misinformation to gender equity and environmental activism — each reflecting the social climate of their times and the unique force of youth engagement.

As part of its commitment to social impact, TNL Mediagene aims to elevate visibility and participation among the next generation of change agents. Becoming Aces is not only a platform for talent discovery but also a space where youth values meet public discourse, enabling real, sustained change.
